Victoria H. Forester, 65, of Elgin, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at her home. Born May 12, 1943 in Chicago, she was the daughter of James and Helen (Wassman) Forester.

Victoria (Vickie) Forester will be remembered for her generous spirit, independent streak, intelligent wit and sophisticated style. She was a successful business owner, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She appreciated a good debate, a glass of ice, cold beer and a good laugh. She spoiled herself and others and was a connoisseur of beautiful things. She was smart, beautiful, and stubborn and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She lived her life with no regrets. 

Victoria is preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Forester.

She is survived by her sister, Kathryn (Joseph) Schipani; niece, Jennifer (Sean) McGrath and her children, Celia and Evelyn McGrath.
