Tomasa Servin De Guzman, 87, of Carpentersville, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home. The daughter of Margarito and Valentina (Rodriguez) Servin, she was born January 28, 1929 in Jaral Del Refugio, Acambaro, GTO., Mexico.
She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, and she was a great help to other families in their times of need and helping with their children. She was greatly loved by her family and will be sorrowfully missed.
Tomasa is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Fulgencio Guzman of over 60 years in 2011; one daughter, Valentina Guzman; one son Reynaldo Guzman.
She is survived by seven sons; three daughters; 24 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 20 great great-grandchildren; 2 great, great, great grandchildren; six sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
