Thomas J. Frazier, 59, of Elgin died Wednesday, September 10, 2009 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Covington, TN on August 21, 1950, he was the son of Columbus and Leila May (Tipton) Frazier.
He was a hardworking man and loved his family and children with all his heart. Thomas loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino boats playing the slot machines. Thomas will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; Columbus and Leila Mae (Tipton) Frazier; and three siblings, Norma Jean Frazier, Betty Frazier and Hilda Frazier.
He is survived by seven children, Alecisa (Mack) Dunlap, Toni Armour, Tiffany (Byron) Frazier, Victoria (Deondre) Frazier, Tianna Williams, Daniel (Claudia) Simmons, and Toni Gregory; eight grandchildren, Jasmine St. Clair, Ambrose Quentin Starks, Chatera Dunlap, Jada Frazier, Savoy Frazier, Ionna Dunlap, Sanaya Johnson and Savannah Frazier; special friend, Joann Dunlap; eight loving siblings, James Frazier, Charles Frazier; Dorothy (Sonny) Cobb, Jimmy Lee Frazier, Wilernest Frazier; Henry Frazier; Harold Frazier and Ricky Frazier; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at O’Connor – Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin. Funeral Service will be observed on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 9:00 AM at O’Connor – Leetz Funeral Home, Pastor Walter H. Blalark, officiating, Burial will follow at Bluff City Cemetery.
