Teresa Vega, 80, of Gilberts died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Sherman Hospital. Born in San Rafael, Mexico on June 10, 1932, she was the daughter of Tomas Vega and Luisa Perez.
Teresa was a very strong mother with a heart the size of Texas. She lived to shower her children, grandchildren and friends with love and affection. Her caring spirit was one to be admired and her strength kept her going and in our company for many years. May God bless her and we pray she has found peace at last.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Guadalupe.
She is survived by her husband Guadalupe and children, Eduardo Soto, Maria Urbieta, Roberto Soto and Teri Sanchez.
Visitation will be held at O’Connor – Leetz Funeral Home on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elgin, Fr. Leonardo Maldonado, presiding. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
