Michael Edward Trnka, 30, of Elgin died September 17, 2018 at his home.  The son of Michael James Trnka and Roxann Lynn Kendall-Trnka. He was born January 31, 1988 in Elgin, IL.

Michael enjoyed music, skateboarding and restoring bikes.  He loved his family and times spent at music festivals.  He was a proud graduate of Dundee Crown High School 2006.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank Trnka and Ethel Rudiger.

Michael is survived by his loving parents; two brothers, Cody Trnka of Sleepy Hollow and Thomas Trnka of Algonquin; maternal grandparents, Tom and Judy Kendall of Elgin; a paternal grandparents; Herb Rudiger, II and Ali Trnka;  four Uncles, Jeff Kendall of Burlington, David Kendall of St Charles, Scott Trnka of Algonquin, and Herb Rudiger, III of Elgin; one Aunt, Kathy Trnka of Appleton, WI. and cousins, Kenny and Andrea Charlet.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, 364 Division Street, Elgin, with Pastor Joshua Free, of Abiding Peace Lutheran Church, officiating.  Interment will be private.
