
Marilynn Pippins, 60 of Elgin, died Monday, May 4, 2020 at Journey Care in Barrington. Born June 13, 1959 in Elgin, she was the daughter of James and Marilyn (Hogrewe) Perfors.
She absolutely Loved being a grandma and was extremely proud of being a mother and grandmother. Marilynn had a huge heart and would do anything she could for anyone. She treasured going to parties and gatherings with family and friends. New friends automatically became family. Marilynn had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh. She enjoyed reading books, crocheting, watching cooking shows, and daily walks. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed hearing the word of God at West Ridge Community Church, Elgin.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother.
Marilynn is survived by her daughter Jaime (Mike) Owsley, her son Brian Pippins, 3 Grandchildren, James, Jason, and Rachel Owsley; 2 brothers, David (Mary) Perfors, and James Perfors and several nieces and nephews
