Lester N. Arnold, Jr, 49 of Woodstock, died Tuesday at Centegra Woodstock Hospital. He was born January 12, 1963 in Newport News, Va. The son of Lester and Barbara Campbell Arnold.
He was a 1981 Graduate of Crystal Lake South High School, and attended Southern IL. University. He lived in Schaumburg until 1978 when the family moved to Woodstock.
Lester is survived by his father Lester N. Arnold, Sr., and step-mother Mary Jo; 3 children, Savannah, Payton and Eric Butler Arnold all of Schaumburg; A sister Sandi (Hendryk) Arnold Ruys, of the Netherlands; 1 step-brother, Brent (Suzanne) Campbell; 1 step-sister, Karen (Stan) Woods, and a maternal grandmother, Grace S. Campbell all of LA. 2 nieces, 3 nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara Campbell Arnold, Maternal grandfather, and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29th at the O’Connor –Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon. Pastor Bill Legge, officiating. Committal will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Elgin.
