Joseph Henry Goldner, 92 of Elgin died September 27, 2013. Born June 9, 1921 in Elgin he was the son of Joseph Albert and Mary Ann (Yonka) Goldner.
He was a veteran of WW II having served in the Merchant Marines. Joe worked as an engineer for Seconi Oil, and Lockheed Martin as a pipeline engineer until his retirement in the 1980’s.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife Jean of 68 years in 2010.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Loechner of Elgin; one nephew, Mike; two nieces, Rita, and Barb. Loved by many and a true gentlemen to the world.
