
James M. Klus, 59, of Kingston, IL passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at his home in Kingston after a brief battle with cancer.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, 364 Division Street in Elgin, IL from 9 am until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial following at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Elgin. Pastor Carl Rasmussen officiating.
James was born on January 24, 1965 in Elgin, IL; the son of Lawrence Klus and Betty (Reach) Klus. James is survived by two sons, Michael Klus and Allen Klus of Kingston, IL; stepdaughter Amy Hernandez and granddaughters Madison and Alissa Malugen. James is also survived by two sisters, Judy (Brad) Splinter and Merry Klus, Sycamore, IL; and one brother Terry Klus of Sycamore, IL.
James was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy Klus and Ray Klus.
James worked for Kinney Electrical Manufacturing Company in Elgin for over 20 years. James enjoyed spending time with family and friends. James was the #1 Chicago Blackhawks fan. James enjoyed watching the Blackhawks win the 2010, 2013 and 2015 Stanley Cups!
