Concepcion “Connie” T. Lerma 65, died Monday August 18, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Anita Minjarez Trejo and Juan Trejo. She was the 7 of 12 children.
Connie met the love of her life Santos H. Lerma at work in Elk Grove Village in 1969. They were married on May 4th, 1970. The love they shared grew into a family with four children and eleven grandchildren. Her oldest son Santos T. Lerma wife Christina, her oldest daughter Monica Napiorkowski husband Tom, her daughter Belinda Bulinski husband Matt, and her youngest child Bobby John Lerma fiancé Tania. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren; Gabriel Lerma, Olivia Napiorkowski, Angelica Pena, Isabel Napiorkowski, Kaitlyn Lerma, Vivian Napiorkowski, Dimitrius Lerma, Kaleb Bulinski, Kaden Bulinski, Ryleigh Lerma and Juan Lerma.
She had a love for county music, loved to dance, taught herself how to play guitar, a fantastic cook and gave whatever she could to those in need. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and love. She was a God loving woman and is at peace in heaven with her loved ones that have gone before her.
Services will be Saturday, August 23, at O’Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, 364 Division Street. Elgin, Visitation will be from 1:00 – 4:00 pm with the religious service beginning at 4:00 pm.
