Carla Hall, 44, of Elgin died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Sherman Hospital. Born in Chicago on May 25, 1964, she was the daughter of Milton Caraway and Sonja Hall.
Prior to her illness, Carla enjoyed working as a CNA in the Elgin area. She was a loving mother, wonderful friend, caring sister and precious daughter. Carla will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, which will be greatly missed!
Carla is survived her mother, Sonja Hall; 2 sons, Taurean Hall and Travon Hall; daughter, Takara Hall; 3 brothers, Keith Hall, Milton Hall and David Hall; and sister, Marsha Caraway.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church, Elgin, Pastor Nathaniel Edmond, officiating. O’Connor – Leetz Funeral Home, Elgin, in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1280 Summit St., Elgin, IL 60120. You will NEVER be forgotten. We became friends 17 years ago. I will miss you dearly, however I know you are in not suffering anymore and that is how I make it thru each day knowing you are not suffering.
Thank you for all the laughs and the good times we had. There were months when we didn’t talk, but we picked right up where we left off.
