Billy J.Bostedt, 83, of Schaumburg, formally of Las Vegas Nevada, died at 4:30 am on April 17, 2014 at Lexington Health Care Center in Schaumburg. He was born on November 25, 1930 in Chicago to Henry and Anna (Kures) Bostedt. He married his bride, Helen, 61 years ago. She survives. He is also survived by his children Sharon Madden, Deborah Petrowski, William Bostedt, John (Jodi) Bostedt, Joe (Eva) bostedt, and Lori (Joe) Mele, 19 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Bill was a member of the IBT705 and worked for Hollander Storage and Moving ,of Elk Grove Village, for 41 years before retiring in 1992.
There will be a Funeral service for Billy at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at O’Connor- Leetz Funeral Home. Visitation will be four hours prior to service, starting at 10:00 am.

dear helen and family: this year was the first year in ages that i went to vegas with tim and his two children. i tried to find you, but got in touch with john and he said that you had moved back to chicago. my heart goes out to you. bill was such a great guy, he always had a smile on his face and for years i used to look at all the hollander trucks to see if he was driving. i usually spend six months in arizona and six months here. please give me a call when you are able.
