Barbara T. Petersen, 66, of Arlington Heights died Sunday, March 2, 2014. Born in Chicago on March 24, 1947, she was the daughter of Howard and Clayre (Fletcher) Tully.
She was a graduate of Arlington High School in ’65, and attended U of W Stevens Point. Barbara was a proud member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and a resident of Elgin for 31 years. She enjoyed a lifetime of summers in Saugatuck, MI. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Tully. She is survived by her loving husband, Ryan of 44 years; two daughters, Kirbie (Brian Stephens) Petersen; Kelly (Jay Carlin) Petersen; one granddaughter, Maggie; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division Street, Elgin, Pastor Olin Sletto, officiating. Memorials may be made in Barb’s memory to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
