Mr. Anthony Jackson, of Crystal Lake, died February 23, 2021. Anthony was lovingly referred to as Tony “Bone”.  He was born on February 22, 1967 in Elgin, IL, the son of Bennie Jackson and Bobbie Stewart-Jackson, of Elgin, Illinois. Tony’s relationship with God began at an early age when he became a member of Progressive Baptist Church and was a member of the children’s choir.  He attended elementary and middle school in District U-46.  He enjoyed high school and graduated from Elgin High School in 1985.  Tony’s greatest passion was playing baseball.  Tony played for Elgin High School, but his most memorable accomplishment was winning the “Babe Ruth Teener League” in 1982.  He continued to play the game he loved and enjoyed playing softball with the “Dirty Dogs”, well into his adulthood.  Tony was an employee of Plote, Inc. for 27 years. Tony married the love of his life, Pamela DiGiovanni on October 24, 1998.  Pam adored Tony, he was her everything.  Pam will forever miss his gentleness, his smile, his humor, and his compassion. Tony had a real zest for life.  Tony loved his Saturday nights with his bowling league.  He had a passion for astrology, loved to watch the stars and planets with his telescope.  He enjoyed technology and playing with his toys.  He loved all sports, whether he was participating or as the spectator.  He enjoyed, travel, walks on the beach with Pam, his yearly family trip to Florida and Michigan. Tony and Pam joined Hope Church of Crystal Lake.  He loved the church and his faith continued to grow as his family grew. Most important to Tony was sharing laughter and fun times making memories with his family and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents Cornel and Lena Bell Jackson (paternal), Cottrell and Bessie Stewart (maternal), Patricia DiGiovanni (mother-in-law) and Nini. Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife Pamela DiGiovanni-Jackson; three daughters Aerionna Dugger of Lake In The Hills, Illinois, Taylor Jackson, Madison Jackson, of Crystal Lake, Illinois; Parents Bobbie Jackson of Elgin, Illinois, Bennie Jackson (Rita Robotham) of Elgin, Illinois, Anthony DiGiovanni (father-In-law); one brother, Cameron Jackson, of Elgin, Illinois, one sister in law, Michelle (Brian) Borkowicz ; three grandchildren, Xaviere Escobar, Xaylia Escobar, Xander Pace of Lake In The Hills; four nieces and two nephews: Brandy, Lexi, Jasmine, Brie, Jay and Maxwell.  Tony leaves behind a large close-knit family including his aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Hope Church, 451 Ackman Road in Crystal Lake, on Wednesday, March 3, from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00. Due to occupancy limitations set by CDC, the funeral service will be private, however, the service will be live streamed. Hope Church shall be compliant with the CDC recommendations on social distancing and the merits of health and safety for all its employees, patrons, and visitors of the church.  Masks are required and entry to the visitation will be limited to fifty persons at a time. Upon arriving, visitors will be expected to register for Co-vid 19 tracing. Once inside, we kindly ask you to engage only in brief salutation to the immediate family and kindly exit, thus, allowing others to enter.
