Alma D. Schultz, 88, died Monday, January 20, 2014. The daughter of William and Alma (Wollert) Lueck. She was born January 21, 1925 in Dundee. She worked for Illinois Bell, and enjoyed being a homemaker, and raising her family. Her family was her greatest joy, and she shared the love of her children, grand (great) children, nieces and nephews. Alma also enjoyed reading, gardening, and cross word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert of 59 years, having married on October 28, 1944; her parents; siblings, William, Vera, Verna, Norma, John, Robert, Ruth, and Charles; three nephews, James Lueck, and Russell Lueck, and William Swierkosz. Alma is survived by two daughters, Christine (Tom) Foster, of So. Elgin, and Barbara Schultz, also of So. Elgin; two grandchildren, Michael (Cathy) Flentge, and Amy (Daniel) Walden; four great grandchildren, Eric and Rachael Walden, Lindzie Nork, Easton Flentge; five siblings, David (Betty) Lueck, Marion Kozlowski, Eleanore Whitcomb, Anna Mitchell, and Irene Swierkosz. Many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division Street, Elgin with Pastor Olin Sletto, officiating. Burial will follow at River Valley Memorial Gardens, Dundee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alma’s memory to Lurie Children’s Hospital Hydrocephalus Fund, 225 E.
